... and anyone else who likes to celebrate the 4th of July, even if they aren't from 'Murica! > w<

I had a pretty awesome day yesterday. I spent it with :iconbloodhoundyellow:! I'd actually spent the night, going over at like 6pmish the day before. We played a lot of games like Mario Paint, Excitebike [I was still groggy/sleepy during this though XDa], Bloody Roar 2 and Primal Fury, Luigi's Mansion, Bushido Blade 1 and 2 [the second of which she got yesterday], Boob Tomb Raider 2, and possibly more, I can't remember. All of the 2s we played were because I used to have them when I was a kid and so she was being awesome and letting me trip all over nostalgia, remembering the different attacks [especially with Bushido Blade 2 kusdfgkasdfgfg] and she even went through the story mode of Long on Bloody Roar 2. I also showed her how we killed Lara Croft in TR2 in the training mode [drowning and diving off the staircase to break her neck] and locking the butler in the meat freezer. During the night of the 3rd, we drank some idk either smirnoff or jack daniel's lemonade beer-like things and each had snacks, she had some white cheddar popcorn, I had some funyuns. Many lulz were had, especially during the last 2 opponents of BR2's story mode. Shenlong and Gado were kicking Nel's ass, and I'm sure they would have pwned me even faster. xDD We were also interrupted a lot by Nel's toddler sister and nephew, who were adorable as fuck and just so cute.dfjbgkagi we got many hugs and d'awws from them~ >W<!! Her nephew calls the color blue "Sonic" sdfkludfiusi X'D!!! dfksbgil

On the 4th, we went to a video game store because they were having a sale [buy 2 get 1 free] and Nely had planned out which games she wanted to get. Trouble was, once we got there, both of the games she wanted had been sold, so she spent a while looking for other games to get. She ended up getting Pokemon Pearl, Bushido Blade 2, and the game she'd ask them to hold for her, Super Smash Bros [I think it was the original? :Ua ]. She'd traded in 3 games for store credit and ended up only having to pay like $5 for it! XD Then we went to Baskin-Robbins to get some ice cream. She got aaa pistachio ice cream, and I got regular ole chocolate. Hers was melting all over her hand/napkin, but I managed to keep my melty ice cream from going cray XD! We finished it before we went into this one Hobby store and saw lots of models of like planes, cars, boats, etc... also some little toys and figurines, but not really the kinds we originally went in to look for [dragons mostly].
After that we went to MTC to look around at stuff because wynaut. We saw this cool wall scroll of a Claymore character, and I checked out the music section and to see if they had Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, which I had started doing the past few times we hung out/went out to stores like this. Didn't find it there, but I did end up getting a pack of pokemon cards. Then we went to Entertainmart and I decided to check there for that Scooby Doo movie and holy shit lucked out and found it, so I was like LOLOL I'M BUYING THIS OMG. SDKLGBSJB DULI Liberty shined gloriously on me right then! We looked around a bit more before we left... She got this one game, MediEvil theee first one I think?
After that, we went back to her house for a bit to play some games, first I showed her the Tomb Raider stuff, and then put on BB2. I was trying to figure out how I did these moves with this one weapon, which I had thought was the Naginata, but after a bit I figured out was in fact the Yari. I was lucky enough to be able to figure out and show her the different attacks I remember loving to death, though there were some locked characters I couldn't show her [mostly the Red Ninja guy]. Then we went to IN-N-OUT Burger, which is like an old-fashioned kind of diner/fast food place. It has an incredibly small menu, which is AWESOME! Hamburger, Cheeseburger and Double Cheeseburger, Fries and various beverage options are what it consists of. the whole menu. it's so awesome! XD It really tasted like I was having a homemade burger, not a fast food one. skdfughsilbgkdsb And the people were so nice! ;w ;!! I really liked that place. <333 Once we ate, we drove to the place where the soccer game was. It was kind of a long drive, like 40-50 mins, and I ended up taking a lot of random ass pics with my phone of things like buildings, the clouds, overpasses and whatnot. We technically got to the place in time, the only problem was, since it was the 4th of July, there were an assload of people who hogged up all the nearby parking spaces [some douchebags even took up two slots! Or had goddamn grills in fucking parking spaces. >:C!!]. We started seeing people parking in this grassy area, so we were like Fuck it, we'll go there, but had a hell of a hard time figuring out where the entrance was, and discovered most people were just driving over the curb, a feat that Nel's car couldn't accomplish because Hershey's a small car that's close to the ground. Luckily, we did finally manage to find a spot where the curb went down so we could park in that area, which was at about 8:09 ish [the game started at 8, we were still driving when the first little firework things went off to signal the start], so we had to run/jog like a half a mile or so to get to the place. I got too tired so I couldn't really keep up that well fkglsb XD we bought some water and then finally got to our seats to watch the game. It was fun, though people kept needing to get out, so we kept having to stand to let them pass, which was annoying. I also broke my wallet's chain when I tried to participate in a wave thing because it kept getting stuck on the fucking chair, so that was annoying. It was still fun, though, and after the game [our hometown team won, 2-1], and afterwards a nice 20-minute fireworks show happened, which was nice. 8'D
After all that, we walked back to her car and just kinda sat there and waited while people were traffic-jam style stuck for like an hour and a half to two hours. I drew some of my babbies and Nely read some of this book I brought [Encylopedia of Magical Creatures]. I also showed her this trailer for a movie I really wanna see, What We Do In the Shadows, which is a mockumentary about these 3-4 vampires who are basically roommates skdglfs.
We drove back home with the the car's top down which was fun and listened to music. I tried taking pics, but my phone's camera sucks for nighttime photos. XD  I got back home and my family had made A CRAP TON OF FOOD OMG. Burgers [with fixins, lettuce and sliced onions and tomatoes], coleslaw, bratwursts, chicken, some roast thing [I think that was all gone though], corn on the cob, veggie kebabs, chips, chocolate pie, watermelon, baked potatoes.... like omg.. xDDD So I had some of that, brushed my super tangled hair, unpacked my bag I had taken to Nely's and went to sleep. > W<!!!

Super fun day. 8D

//Edit July 6:
------------------------
Fixed my wallet on the 5th, which was awesome, since I was really sad/pissed about it breaking ;u ;!!

And today [6th], me and Nel hung out again. First, we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to look for some bed lifts for her mom, but I lucked out and found [this] blanket that I've wanted since I saw it last Chrimus. We were surprised it was still there/in stock, so I decided to buy it in case I never see it again sdfgihklfgsgsg. It's so soft and amazing skdughkldfhgaef
After that we went to that video game store again because they have a street pass event every first Sunday of the month, so we chilled there and I drew some more babbies and tried to hatch a shiny Froakie for a little bit. My 3ds almost went ded because I hadn't charged it, but a guy who worked there was awesome and let me borrow a charger. :'D!! Nel played a lot of Katamari on her PSP until it went ded. We also watched this idk.. sort of video thing the store has running that shows gameplay of lots of old games intermingled with oollllddddd game commercials [like the first super smash bros, the NES system, the original GameBoy and a bunch of others]
Also, a [girl] came up to us and started talking to us about pokemon and stuff, which was awesome. C': She even doodled a little something on an index card I had brought. Cx! I'll upload a pic of it once I've doodled enough traditional things to make a doodle dump for myself. XDa
Then we checked out Fry's to see if they had some battery thing Nel wants to use to work on/practice fiddling with games' batteries, but we didn't find that. We did, however, find a bunch of big ass CD case holders, which was another thing she wanted to look for. When we got in the car, she told me about [this] video. X'D!!!!
Then we went to MTC again just to check if they had this game, Okage. I used to have it a long time ago, but not any more. I remember it being quirky and fun and suggested it to Nel to get, but it's apparently a pretty hard to find game. ;w; </3 Having no luck there, we went to In-N-Out burger again, but via the drive thru, and she took me home and yeah. O wO!!
While driving around during the last 3rd/half of our outing, we kept going on about manic banana pirates who flip their shit over banana chips because of [this] game. X'D
