Holy fuck yes I finished in time. X____X [stayed up literally all night finishing this bitch bc I couldn't get an energy drink to wake me up... today, so I opted to just chug through the coloring! XD]
The contest is to draw your fave MCR/Blink-182 song [using at least some crayon] and the top 5 get 2 free tickets to their show coming up Sept 27th. And I think a meet and greet with both bands. :U
Anyways~ the reason I'm entering is actually not mostly because of the prize. It's mostly because there was a similar contest about a month or so ago, only for Blue October. My sister, Jojo, was checking it out, and she really liked some of the entries, and I think she asked me and my other sis, Ned, to look at it, but we weren't really impressed and she asked why, and we went through a list of the pretty 'unprofessional' ish type things most of the entrants did, like use lined paper, extremely sloppy/rushed coloring jobs, things like that [keep in mind it's for a contest]. So, she challenged us to do better, and we were just gonna do BO songs like how that contest was, but we found out about this one like 3 days ago. Ned didn't have time to finish it though, because of life getting in the way, but I did it!
And thus I will prove to Jojo that the previous entrants simply did not take a lot of time or put a lot of effort into the entries. xD!
tl;dr the main reason I did this was a bet my sis made with me and my other sis: we couldn't do better than the other entrants did.
Oh and the pic:
1.) The song used = [My Chemical Romance - Ghost of You]
2.) In my story, this is where the love of Makar's life, whom he planned to marry and have 2.5 kids in a white picket fence house, died when Makar's real parents [vampiric creatures] came to turn Makar, and his love was merely in the wrong place at the wrong time. At first, he thought she'd come back from near-drowning like he seemed to have done, but then the truth started sinking in.
Also, I decided this will be part of my [100 Themes challenge - 100. Gone]
Kudos if you read all of this.
